Dale practices in the primary areas of real estate, business law, wills, trusts, and estate planning. He is board certified in taxation by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education and is rated "AV" by the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory, the highest rating for legal ability and ethics. This rating is the result of an extensive review of legal expertise and professional reputation. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana; a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Florida; and a Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Florida. Dale is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar and the Brevard County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Tax Section and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Dale is a member of the Board of Trustees of Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne Florida. He is past President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Brevard, Inc. He is also a founding shareholder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Bank Brevard, a community bank located in Melbourne, Florida. He is past President and a member of the Board of Directors of Melbourne Kidney Center, Inc. He is past President and a member of the Brevard County Estate Planning Council. Dale has practiced law in Melbourne, Florida since 1974. He is married to Pamela Dettmer and has three children. He enjoys cycling, traveling and reading.
